Working principle
Partial discharge inside GIS usually results in the neutralization of positive and negative charges, and along the discharge channel, extremely short and steep pulse currents of unit ns level are generated. Due to the rich ultra-high frequency signal components contained in GIS partial discharge signals, their frequencies can reach several hundred MHz, or even several GHz. UHF sensors can capture high-frequency partial discharge signals and ultimately convert them into electrical signals for analysis and processing.
Product Features
*The working frequency range is 100MHz-3GHz, with high sensitivity and easier capture of partial discharge signals.
*Partial discharge signals can be detected in the early stages of insulation degradation, maintaining the safe operation of power equipment and reducing enterprise costs.
*Installed at the GIS flange, sturdy and easy to install, with 24-hour online monitoring of equipment status.
